She's born on 20 Sept'08, just had her 2nd vaccine on Fri, she's all ready to come home & terrorise us with Twinkle! Isn't she adorable!?!? I hope she'll be just as cooperative with Twinkle when we paper-train her

Cotton? Bubble?
It was a fine Saturday morning, we're up early cos cleaner auntie is here. At 10am+, we decided to headout with Twinkle to Pasir Ris Farmway to look at the puppies!
At Farmway 1, there's only 1 dog farm & over there got a huge dog, I suggested to go over to Farmway 2! There's a few dog farms there like Ericsson Pet Farm, Pet's Mover etc..
The living condition of the puppies in Pet's Mover is beyond words to describe, 10 puppies in one cage!! I simply cannot believe it, if not I'll see 3 Golden Retriever puppies in one cage *faintz* We left the place in less than 5 mins.
We went over to this farm with unit number 10, there's a few shops that sells puppies, we just kpo went to this shop, not too sure whats the name of the shop, it has 6 red poodles for sale, all female somemore!! I actually saw this cute cute one, cos Twinkle is around I can't carry the puppy, pricing is reasonable but Colin insist that we go home & consider.
A very important factor that hold us back is if we can cope with 2 dogs, what if I'm pregnant!?!? So the whole day we're talking about it, reading thru some doggy forum, there's this shop in unit number 10 farm called Topbreed that sells very healthy puppies. Since the shop only opens after 2.30pm, we decided to dropby on Sun.
Sun after lunch, we went over to Topbreed without Twinkle this time round. When we step inside the shop, the environment is clean, the boss is mopping the area & I saw some very very lovely maltese! After making some enquiry with the boss, she say there's 3 male puppies, but we're looking for female only.
She say she have a female puppy, but its at another shop & ask if we wanna see her, of cos I replied! When I saw her, its love at first sight, so pretty can!!! I carry her & immediately felt the attachment with her, the way she walk so elegant!
I told the boss I'm getting her! She did not collect any deposit from any of her customer becos she wants the puppy to go to a really good home, should we regret 2 weeks later, she's fine. She's the breeder, the mummy is her pet dog, this puppy is like her children. We're gonna visit her again this Sun, this time round we'll bring Twinkle along to see her new mei mei & hopefully there's no sign of jealousy from her.

1 yr and still counting..
Today marks exactly 1 year since my dear princess lassie has passed on.
To my dear princess, 1 year has passed but never a day have we forgotten you. You still live dearly in our hearts & hope you're well wherever you are. Although we've gotten another princess, she'll never replace you in our heart, pls teach her some barking skills like you do when you're around, she's way too quiet for a dog.

Twinkle's 2nd boarding with Sharon
We board Twinkle with Sharon (her breeder) during our recent 4 days trip to phuket. Given the previous good experience last round, we thought this will be the "perfect" place to board her.
Sat - 25 Oct
We drop her off at 3.30pm so that we can rest & pack our luggage. Once I put her down, Gucci went crazy over her & after telling Sharon what needed to be done we sneak off. But this monster came to the door when she heard the word "bye bye". I saw her walking back into the house & thought she must have went in to the house to play, I was totally wrong!!
I sms Sharon in the evening to check on Twinkle, she say after we left Twinkle was at the gate the whole time sniffing around, they tried to call her into the house but failed until her daughter carry her in. It really breaks my heart, she really miss us & wonder why we left without her. I told Sharon, since she did not whine she should be fine the next day. She even refuse her favourite cookie, she must be really sad
Sun - 26 Oct
I called Sharon after we check-in at hotel, I was hoping to hear Twinkle is doing great like the last round, but nope, she did not eat much of her dinner, but we did not name her milk addict for nothing, she finish her morning milk in less than a min. Sharon say she'll sms me in the evening for more updates. So we went to enjoy. Next sms really came at 9pm, this rascal did not eat her dinner & make a mess in her laundry room!! *faintz* We're obviously very embarass by what she have done. Nothing much we can do except to apologise.
Mon - 27 Oct
Sharon sms me & say that Twinkle is having heat, this explains her weird behaviour + lost of appetite, in the evening she did not eat her dinner again, so Sharon is very heartache & added a bit of warm milk into her food & she finish up everything *faintz* (she definitely will not get her way at home).
Sharon also say that she did not use her pee tray at all but pee & poo all over her house *faintz*
Tues - Wed
PEACE!! No sms from Sharon but I called Sharon the min we arrive at changi airport on Wed night. Twinkle is sure happy to see us.
This girl is spoilt silly at Sharon's place cos she's a baby in everybody's eyes there. But the minute she reach home, she suddenly remember where we hang her drinking bottle & where her pee tray is, she went to her pee tray the minute we're home.

After 11 Yrs!!
After 11 years, I've finally decided to chop off my long hair! Colin say he's gonna take pix of my long hair before I chop it off & take pix of my short hair. Just in case you peepz wonder what make me cut off my hair, its the crazy weather! I'm getting sick of tying my long hair everyday,
I last cut off my hair way way back in 1997 before I went Perth & have never cut it short but I still trim the ends lah.
This will be the first in 6.5 years Colin see me in short hair & definitely not the last. I'll post the pics after my haircut

Baby, I miss you badly
I've finally given up my twinkle to somebody who can give her a really good home.
I miss her sitting at the kitchen door waiting to greet us
I miss seeing her on the webcam when I'm in office
I miss playing fetch with her
All the above is history cos I couldn't bear to see her being punished so heavily till bleed. It hurts me so so much to see her suffer just becos she play with the water in her water bowl.
*Just after I post this entry, I realise Twinkle is at home, I'll move her to my parents place till I find her a better home

Phuket here we come..
We're going Phuket from 26/10 to 29/10 flying with Silkair. I really hope the situation in Thailand is good at that time, if not we have to choice but to postpone it.

For the past few days, I've been calling up dunno how many housing agents to enquire about the EA they advertise in papers just to know the current housing market situation.
Last night, Colin ask me to compare pricing between hougang central & hougang ave 9 pricing (our next house will definitely be out of hougang). This agent from ERA (no offence to those from ERA) is really irritating & he better dun call me again.
He advertise 2 units, blk 9xx so I called to enquire. But the cash the owners are asking is really crazy, so he ask so many questions, I told him straight I'm looking at a few areas. This irritating fella (almost labelled him as idiot) ask if I'm looking outta Hougang, he nearly get fired by me, me being nice say "of cos I'm looking out of hougang area & we've yet to decide which area we want cos we just started looking for 2 days!"
Today he call again (lucky I use house phone not my handphone), in fact he call twice cos we're not home to answer the earlier call, heng ah!
It was close to 5pm when he call, nice timing cos Colin just knock out in his afternoon nap!
ERA: Miss, have you decided which area you want
Me: Not yet & not so soon cos we're not in the hurry & may not move afterall
ERA: I thought you've decided so I can service you
Me: *in my mind I've so decided not to let this idiot service me"* I'm still looking around, definitely not looking at hougang area
ERA: What areas are you looking at
Me: We're looking at AMK, bishan & bt batok *his reaction was "wah, so many areas" WTH
Whole conversation lasted around 10 mins, but seems forever to me, cos I really hate this kind of agent, who on earth will be in the right state of mind to make haste decision & he really ask a lot of fei hua (rubbish), the most ultimate move I make was just to hang up his call cos I cannot take it anymore. I dun have good impression of ERA agents & this fella just give me more bad impression.
I really hope he doesn't call again, if not I dun think Colin will have such patience to handle him

Its been a really really long time since my last update, a bit lazy to get myself to blog at times.
What actually happen during the past 5 weeks. Nothing much in fact, just that I had 3 asthma attacks in 1 mth!! Outta those 3 attacks, 2 majors & 1 minor attack, I was practically like a dead fish everyday cos I still need to work. Most of the things at home are handled by Colin, thank you dear for all those you've done!!
During those attacks, Colin woke up almost every hour just to ensure that I'm still breathing well & if not I think he would have send me to hospital, I'm really really blessed to have him around.
Twinkle is already 7 mths old, she's still very much the same, still the milk addict & of cos still doesn't bark when somebody press the door bell! She welcomes anyone that wanna play with her. We brought her to the expo last mth to visit the SKC dog show, the entrance fees is really cut-throat price, $6 per adult & $1 per doggie *faint*. Basically dogs do nothing inside & yet still gotta pay!! We went down to "support" Gucci (Twinkle's mummy) cos she's taking part in grooming competition, it'll definitely be our first & last visit if the entrace fees is still gonna be so ex! Update!!
She got a shocked when I call home to stop her from bitting her back, she stay in this position for a good 20 mins!
We shifted her bed to the entrance of the baby gate, I think she enjoy sleeping there & I can spy her more easily!Its been a really long time since I last update. I've been feeling under the weather since 2 weeks ago. It start with slight cough, then come with bodyache then flu. For the past 2 weeks I've been taking my flu & cough med & no signs of recovery *sigh*.
This morning woke up with a real painful throat, I surrender & told Colin to bring me to see our GP. Our dear GP say I'm having throat infection & since the cough med doesn't cure my cough, he change it, that 5 mins visit make me poorer by $38.
My dear baby twinkle will be 6 months old this coming Fri. Actually wanted to bring her to play with her mummy, gucci, but since I'm not well for the past 2 weeks, this plan have to KIV till I'm well. Sharon (twinkle's breeder), took some pics of twinkle in some lovely dresses during her boarding, she send mms to Colin & she look so lovely can!! I must go & collect the pics, scan it & post it in her blog.

Taiwan 22 to 26 June 2008
Time to update my 5 days of holiday.
21 June
Day before our holiday was total madness, we need to bath twinkle, pack her barang, pack our own luggage, then feed her at 9pm, 9.30pm quickly send her to her breeder's house. When we reach her breeder's house, I let her run loose, her 3 kids were all excited over twinkle, the first thing twinkle did was to attack Gucci's water!! I quickly brief my breeder's maid about what needed to be done & when twinkle was busy drinking from Gucci's, we quickly ciao before this baby start whining
22 June
We woke up at 4.45am, wash up & eat our breakfast. We made a quick check around the house & left the house at 6am, it was raining cats & dogs 15 mins before we left home! I was calling for cab but no operator is picking up calls! Then I quickly call transcab, tada~ a cab will be on its way within the next 5 mins!
We reach T1 at about 6.30am & check-in our luggage, then we proceed to the staff canteen for a quick bite, boarding starts at 7.40am, we take our own sweet time to walk towards our boarding gate. The weather is pretty bad in the morning, our flight was delayed for almost an hour. I found a very good way to curb my motion sickness, that's to sleep!
We reach Taipei at close to 2pm, first day when the plane landed I called Sharon to check on Twinkle, to my suprise, this little rascal didn't whine at all! When I was on the phone with Sharon, she was enjoying her veggie bone, we're so relieved hearing that & proceed to enjoy our holiday.
Reach our hotel at 3pm, quickly check-in & went to the underground mall to hunt for food. Walk around for a short while & decided to go back to our hotel so that Colin can have a short nap.
6pm+, we went to "shilin" night market for our dinner, didn't buy anything cos I'm very sure whatever I see there I can find it at the wholesale center, went back to hotel at 11pm+, quickly take shower & sleep!
23 June
This morning at 10.15am, the temperature on the tower clock says its 35 degrees! We have some old NT notes that cannot be used anymore & can only be changed at Taiwan bank!! Although the walk is only 15 mins, I felt like its forever cos its so so so warm! After we changed the notes, we take another 15 mins walk to ximenting cos we're in the middle of nowhere! I think we're a little too early so some shops are not open for business yet, we went to this small shopping center inside ximenting to enjoy the aircon & for once I felt aircon is so heavenly.
12.30pm, we went to take our lunch at a japanese restaurant inside the mall. Colin ordered katsu don while I ordered cold noodles. My cold noodles looks pretty boring at the first glance but its so yummy! its definitely something that I'll not get to eat back home, then we also ordered Coke float to cool ourself down from the extremely hot weather.
After lunch, we walk around & really nothing catches my attention, Colin suggest we go back to our hotel for a rest & he can catch a nap, at 4pm we decided to head to "wufenpu", the wholesale center!!
Once we reach, Colin say this is my heaven, he'll leave me to walk to any shop & buy whatever I want!! Both of us walk till we can't feel our feet, then I suggest we go to "rouhe" night market that's just opposite to grab our dinner.
By 11pm, I told Colin that I'm too tired to take train back to hotel, thinking that I still need to climb stairs, lets take a cab! He agreed cos his bag is almost bursting with all my shopping loots! hehe
24 June
Called my bro who is also in Taiwan for holiday with his gf & staying in the same hotel as me! We decided to meet up for lunch at a very famous shop thats sells very very good beef noodles. We met at ximenting at 12pm & walk towards the shop, we're still singing praises about the beef noodles
We parted our ways after lunch cos we dun wanna be their lampost hee. Shop around a bit & Colin bought some t-shirt, not really that easy to find his size cos the cuttings are smaller in Taiwan. 3pm, Colin decided that we go back hotel for his well-deserved nap before heading to "wufenpu" in the evening.
6pm, we reach the wholesale center & to my surprise, this place is still open at 11pm!! We walk around & this poor chap is holding onto a "full battle order", I regret not taking a pic of it! My shoulder & back is aching by carry my haversack, so Colin was helping me to carry mine + his own haversack + another 2 to 3 bags!! Both his hands & back is all loaded!!!
By 11pm, I surrender & we took a cab back to hotel & knock out in less than 5 mins time but Colin woke me up cos I haven't shower, so I drag my tired body to the bathroom & knock out in less than 5 mins after my shower
25 June
We went to CKS memorial hall station to eat the all time famous "lu rou fan", Colin say if he dun eat this is as good as he didn't come Taiwan at all. I like it too, so this time round he ordered a large portion while I had a small portion + a braised egg & bittergourd pork ribs soup. Just before we started eating, I reminded him to take photo, he took 2 quick pics of the dishes & cannot wait to sink his teeth into the rice already.
After lunch, we went to Taipei City Hall to walk around Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, they have 5 buildings there & its 3 times the size of Taka. We walk around in the first building & saw Hagaan Daz & decided to have a drink there. Colin ordered a Mocha Latte while I had a mango freeze drink.
We sat for about an hour & walk around the 5 buildings, happen to walk pass a lesportsac section & saw this bag with poodle print! I fell in love with it immediately!!
We went back to "shilin" night market & since its our last night in Taiwan, we just take our own sweet time to walk around & all the poodles there so pretty can!! Too bad we cannot bring it back if not I sure to buy 1 more to accompany Twinkle.
*P/S: Just before I turn in to bed, I saw an sms from Sharon that says "I've increased Twinkle's feed a bit cos she seems very hungry & finish everything in less than 5 mins without milk powder, she's very happy playing" I cannot help but laugh at the sms, this girl is really having chalet!!
26 June
Today is our last day in Taiwan. The most challenging task is to squeese everything into our luggage! Colin manage to squeese everything in, not too sure how he did it & by 11am, we check-out of our hotel, leave our luggages with them & went to eat pork knuckle rice for lunch!
This shop is about 10 mins walk from our hotel & serves very very good pork knuckle rice & milk fish. It really worth every single cent, after lunch we still have a bit of time before our transfer pick us up to airport, we went to Taipei main station underground mall to walk around.
1pm, we're back at our hotel & on our way to the airport, once we check-in, we went to starbucks to have a drink, 3pm we make our way to the boarding gate, happen to passby some shops.
3.25pm, we're at the boarding gate & I really really miss Twinkle, cannot wait to carry her & get update on what nonsense she has done for the past 5 days!
3.45pm, the plane is moving off from the boarding gate, bye bye Taiwan, see you again in maybe 2 to 3 years time!!
This sums up my holiday, we really had a good time & Twinkle also had a good time at Sharon's place.

We reach Taipei at close to 2pm, first day when the plane landed I called Sharon to check on Twinkle, to my suprise, this little rascal didn't whine at all! When I was on the phone with Sharon, she was enjoying her veggie bone, we're so relieved hearing that & proceed to enjoy our holiday.
Reach our hotel at 3pm, quickly check-in & went to the underground mall to hunt for food. Walk around for a short while & decided to go back to our hotel so that Colin can have a short nap.
6pm+, we went to "shilin" night market for our dinner, didn't buy anything cos I'm very sure whatever I see there I can find it at the wholesale center, went back to hotel at 11pm+, quickly take shower & sleep!
23 June
This morning at 10.15am, the temperature on the tower clock says its 35 degrees! We have some old NT notes that cannot be used anymore & can only be changed at Taiwan bank!! Although the walk is only 15 mins, I felt like its forever cos its so so so warm! After we changed the notes, we take another 15 mins walk to ximenting cos we're in the middle of nowhere! I think we're a little too early so some shops are not open for business yet, we went to this small shopping center inside ximenting to enjoy the aircon & for once I felt aircon is so heavenly.
12.30pm, we went to take our lunch at a japanese restaurant inside the mall. Colin ordered katsu don while I ordered cold noodles. My cold noodles looks pretty boring at the first glance but its so yummy! its definitely something that I'll not get to eat back home, then we also ordered Coke float to cool ourself down from the extremely hot weather.
After lunch, we walk around & really nothing catches my attention, Colin suggest we go back to our hotel for a rest & he can catch a nap, at 4pm we decided to head to "wufenpu", the wholesale center!!
Once we reach, Colin say this is my heaven, he'll leave me to walk to any shop & buy whatever I want!! Both of us walk till we can't feel our feet, then I suggest we go to "rouhe" night market that's just opposite to grab our dinner.
By 11pm, I told Colin that I'm too tired to take train back to hotel, thinking that I still need to climb stairs, lets take a cab! He agreed cos his bag is almost bursting with all my shopping loots! hehe
24 June
Called my bro who is also in Taiwan for holiday with his gf & staying in the same hotel as me! We decided to meet up for lunch at a very famous shop thats sells very very good beef noodles. We met at ximenting at 12pm & walk towards the shop, we're still singing praises about the beef noodles
We parted our ways after lunch cos we dun wanna be their lampost hee. Shop around a bit & Colin bought some t-shirt, not really that easy to find his size cos the cuttings are smaller in Taiwan. 3pm, Colin decided that we go back hotel for his well-deserved nap before heading to "wufenpu" in the evening.
6pm, we reach the wholesale center & to my surprise, this place is still open at 11pm!! We walk around & this poor chap is holding onto a "full battle order", I regret not taking a pic of it! My shoulder & back is aching by carry my haversack, so Colin was helping me to carry mine + his own haversack + another 2 to 3 bags!! Both his hands & back is all loaded!!!
By 11pm, I surrender & we took a cab back to hotel & knock out in less than 5 mins time but Colin woke me up cos I haven't shower, so I drag my tired body to the bathroom & knock out in less than 5 mins after my shower
25 June
We went to CKS memorial hall station to eat the all time famous "lu rou fan", Colin say if he dun eat this is as good as he didn't come Taiwan at all. I like it too, so this time round he ordered a large portion while I had a small portion + a braised egg & bittergourd pork ribs soup. Just before we started eating, I reminded him to take photo, he took 2 quick pics of the dishes & cannot wait to sink his teeth into the rice already.
After lunch, we went to Taipei City Hall to walk around Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, they have 5 buildings there & its 3 times the size of Taka. We walk around in the first building & saw Hagaan Daz & decided to have a drink there. Colin ordered a Mocha Latte while I had a mango freeze drink.
We sat for about an hour & walk around the 5 buildings, happen to walk pass a lesportsac section & saw this bag with poodle print! I fell in love with it immediately!!
We went back to "shilin" night market & since its our last night in Taiwan, we just take our own sweet time to walk around & all the poodles there so pretty can!! Too bad we cannot bring it back if not I sure to buy 1 more to accompany Twinkle.
*P/S: Just before I turn in to bed, I saw an sms from Sharon that says "I've increased Twinkle's feed a bit cos she seems very hungry & finish everything in less than 5 mins without milk powder, she's very happy playing" I cannot help but laugh at the sms, this girl is really having chalet!!
26 June
Today is our last day in Taiwan. The most challenging task is to squeese everything into our luggage! Colin manage to squeese everything in, not too sure how he did it & by 11am, we check-out of our hotel, leave our luggages with them & went to eat pork knuckle rice for lunch!
This shop is about 10 mins walk from our hotel & serves very very good pork knuckle rice & milk fish. It really worth every single cent, after lunch we still have a bit of time before our transfer pick us up to airport, we went to Taipei main station underground mall to walk around.
1pm, we're back at our hotel & on our way to the airport, once we check-in, we went to starbucks to have a drink, 3pm we make our way to the boarding gate, happen to passby some shops.
3.25pm, we're at the boarding gate & I really really miss Twinkle, cannot wait to carry her & get update on what nonsense she has done for the past 5 days!
3.45pm, the plane is moving off from the boarding gate, bye bye Taiwan, see you again in maybe 2 to 3 years time!!
This sums up my holiday, we really had a good time & Twinkle also had a good time at Sharon's place.

Digress!
Just before I update my 5 days holiday, I have something to digress
Soon after we arrive at Taipei's airport, we cleared the immigration & collected our luggage, we went to the arrival hall to look for our transfer. I told Colin to lookout as well, we search the whole arrival hall, couldn't find our transfer at all!! I took out my handphone & called the operator & was greeted with a real shocking news, my stupid agent have forgotten to book my transfer!!
Imagine my shock when I heard it & the guy who answered my call was so helpful, he initiated to call the taiwan counterpart & promise to call me back. 5 mins gone & no calls from him, so I called back, he say there's nobody answering the call, I told him its Sun & everybody is off so just give me a solution!
Then I heard another guy screaming in the background say there's no more cars available to pick us up from airport, so either I take a cab myself or stay overnite in the airport.
Definitely something not very pleasant to start my holiday. On Mon which is the 2nd day of my holiday, I called up my agent & ask what exactly is going on & they themself got a shock, when I went back to my hotel at 3pm, the reception pass me a box of pineapple cake & inside the bag was a letter of apology, 30 mins later the taiwan counterpart followed up with a call of apology & fully refunded me my cab fare, actual cab fare was NT1200, but I claim NT1300, NT100 for my phone bill & inconvenience, I rest the case & continue to enjoy my holiday. They're just so efficient, I think they're afraid that I'll badmouth them so quickly do whatever they can to minimise the damage.

Twinkle's New Boarding Place~~
Yesterday was total madness for me in office, my phone never stop ringing from 1pm to 3pm. Colin came back to office at about 2pm and broke this bad news to me. He say his parents is unable to help us look after our baby anymore during our upcoming trip which is this Sun and we need to find a place to board her now!
Imagine my utter shock when I heard it, its already Thursday & we're flying off on Sun morning, where to find a place to board her so last minute. First person that cross my mind is Jen, I buzz Daniel (Jen's hubby) & ask if its ok, but they're afraid ah zheng might terrorise my baby. Next on my list is Amy, she's ok with me boarding but need to consult her mum & Romi, but they're not agreeable. To my 2 dear friends, its really ok that both of you are not able to help me board my baby in case both of you are feeling guilty.
I took out my handphone & scroll thru the phone list to find who else can do us this big favour. I told Colin, why don't we try to ask our Sharon aka Twinkle's breeder, there's constantly somebody at home, she's very experience with poodle. So I tried calling her & yes she's able to help me & she charge $15 per day! Ok, I'm desperate, whatever price she name I'll take it. I'm not open to the idea of pet hotel cos I dunno what germs & virus she'll get & worse still ticks & fleas are all over and we simply have no time to go visit those places. So last night we brought Twinkle over for bonding session with her mummy. I tell you, the moment Gucci aka Twinkle's mummy saw her, she was jumping with so much joy, and when my breeder kids saw Twinkle they went crazy over her. The moment I put Twinkle down, she had hell lots of fun with her mummy & my breeder's kids.
I'm so so so relieved, the big stone in my heart is finally removed, I can go holiday in peace & be rest assured that my baby is in good hands. After 1.5 hrs of bonding session, my baby is totally flat & can't wait to go home, my breeder's kids is sad that we have to go but I reassured them that Twinkle will be coming over on Saturday night

Bad experience with Mac delivery
Tues noon around 3.30pm, I was feeling hungry & went Mac website to order some food. I was too lazy to go downstair to grab any food cos it was pouring at my side. It was the most stupid decision I ever make that day.
After ordering my favourite mac nuggets meal, I receive an email & it say my food will be delivered to my door before 4.35pm. I was in my room with tv on, and the door is a distant away, so I won't be able to hear anything, my baby is one dog that doesn't bark at anybody who knocks on the door, she was happily wagging her tail cos she thought somebody is at the door coming to play with her!!
With my past experience from Mac delivery, they'll call me when they're at the door, I was just expecting their call.
4.20pm, the delivery guy is at my door, probaby knock on my door a few times & yet I didn't respond.
Delivery guy: "I knock on your door a few times why you never open the door"
Me: *he was freaking rude* I reply "give me a sec, I'll be at the door" *take keys also need time right*
When I open the door, I was being greeted with a real black charcoal face, obviously not a very pleasant experience that I have. He pass me the order & immediately ask me to aknowledge my order without me checking, if its not becos I paid my order by credit card, I would like rejected him right away.
I was also on the verge of lodging a complain with their management on my "wonderful service" by their "professional delivery guy". I understand its rainging & they have to brave through the rain to deliver my order to me, but in my humble opinion, it doesn't warrant them to give such a rude service to customers.
I'll still order from them, cos this is the most convenient way of filling up my tummy when I'm too lazy to move my legs out of my house

CGH A&E
I was having mild asthma attack since Sunday, must be the haze from indonesia making its grand appearance again!!
On Mon & Tues, Colin is being recalled for 2 days reservist, so I took this opportunity to rest at home & at the same time, do the most crazy thing of the month, churn 50 mth end reports!!
Wed return to work despite being unwell. On Thurs, I was really not well, by 10pm I was really breathless, I had a tiff with Colin thus din tell him about me not well. By 10.30pm, I tell myself either I make my own way down to the 24 hrs clinic 2 streets away or hospital A&E cos all GP clinic are already close at that hour.
I decided to go hospital cos the doctor at the 24 hrs clinic doesn't instill any professionalism to me & the medication there is so damn limited. I called for a cab & landed myself at Changi General Hospital A&E 20 mins later. Registration is pretty fast cos there's no queue at all.
I was told to wait at the waiting area to wait for a nurse to call me by name to assess my condition, less than 5 mins waiting I was called. My blood pressure is really high standing at 133 cos I was really breathless, then I was told to do a breathlyser test which I know I sure to fail. First blow the nurse say I did wrongly, I was on the verge of boxing that stupid nurse, 2nd attempt I straight away told him thats the max I can go before I ask for oxygen mask.
I was given a queue number & told to wait, I thought the wait will be at least an hour, but to my surprise, my number flash 10 mins later. This MO appears more professional, assessing my medical history & final diagnosis is mild asthma attack, it doesn't warrant me to bring home the neuberliser, but I totally regretted not bring it home!! The next day my condition seems to be worse, I was literally dragging my feet to the carpark!! The steriod pills that was given to me doesn't seem to stablise my condition, inhailer not doing its job properly, whole day just dragging my feet around office!!
After giving the prescription to the pharmacist, I was called in less than 5 mins time, took my medication & went to make payment. I only need to pay for consultation fees which is $75, medication + GST is on government grant.
Carol accompanied me & we went nearby chatting & I only reach home at 1.30am. Instruction given by the MO is, if my condition is no better after taking the steroid pills, I have to go back to see him, which I doubt I'll ever step back there again unless very very necessary.

Can some kind soul tell me why!!!
Can some kind soul out there why do I have to bear all the sufferings while he can sit back & relax?
Last month I made an appointment to see Dr Soong, first thing I told her I've finally made up my mind to go for SO-IUI, its 5 days jab but if result is not satisfactory, I'll have to continue for another few days.
I thought I've finally pluck the courage to go thru it, but when I really sit down & think I'm just deceiving myself, I still cannot face needles. I still cannot face the reality that I cannot have a child naturally, all these shall be history for maybe God knows the answer to it.
No doubt I yearn to have my own child, but I still cannot face my greatest fear. Thats Needles!!! I'll really freak out the moment I see them. For now, having a child of my own shall be a far away dream until God decides to bless me with one

Twinkle's first grooming session
Yesterday was my baby's first grooming session, I read thru some doggie forum on their review for groomer, quite a few poster give very good review for Pet's Raisin located at Bishan St 22. I've actually made appointment at Pet's Lover Center since I couldn't get any appointment slot at Pet's Raisin.
Finally, I receive a call from Pet's Raisin that they could squeese my baby in. I reminded them that she need a full grooming, and YES!! she's given a slot at 11am. Colin & I drop her off with the groomer & we went to have our brunch then went for a walk at Bishan Junction 8. After that we went back to pick my baby since I yet to receive a call from the groomer & its already 1pm, decided to just wait in the shop. When we step inside the shop, my baby starts to get excited thinking that we'll save her from "hell", sat there for about 10 mins & my baby looks extremely happy!! She can't wait to show us her new hairstyle & she smells good. I check with the groomer if she's difficult to handle, she says no, she's been very good throughout the 2 hr session, guai guai sit down & let her cut her hair & nails.
I can finally put my mind at ease & let her continue her future grooming with this groomer.

Taiwan here I come!!
My holiday is finally confirmed after much homework done by me. I check prices with lotsa travel agencies, I lost count how many phone calls I've made just to make sure I get the best deal. At last, I did a manual calculation if I were to book all by myself. Wow, couldn't believe my eyes I save a whopping $465!!

Flu is back
My flu is back!!
It started with mild sneezing on Thurs, took a couple of hours of work to bring my baby for her last jab.
We reach the clinic on time, register twinkle & I make use of the waiting time to take her latest weight. Her latest weight is 2.16kg, in the normal range *phew*.
When I reach home, my sneezing got from bad to worse, by 11pm I'm almost half dead. I can hardly wake up in the morning, Colin force me to stay home to rest. I quickly call office & inform my girls I'm not going in. Immediately after lunch, pop my flu med & within half hour I'm into my dreamland, but got woken up my phone call 2 hrs later.
At 5.20pm, Colin called me & say he had left office & is on the way to my parents place. Meaning to say he'll be at my parents place within 1 hr!! I quickly change, settle my baby & rush out of the house.
When I was waiting for cab, a kind cab driver from the opposite direction u-turn to pick me. Cut the long story short, cab fare to my parents place is $23.50 super duper freaking expensive!!
Just when I was surfing some friend's blog, I chance upon Elaine's blog & its playing "Footprints in the sand", a song that really speak to me when I'm down. I'll upload the lyrics & the song into my blog soon

Potluck Gathering~
Yesterday I was invited to join a mass chat in msn & once I joined in the topic is on my baby. Everybody is singing praises about her, saying she's very cute & they're very eager to play with her. As my baby has yet to go for her last jab, I can't bring her out as Colin do not want her to mixed around with other dogs.
The gang suggested to have a potluck gathering at my house, I've consulted Colin & after looking thru the calender, I've decided on the date 7/6 cos I may go for a short holiday in May, date unknown. Daniel (Jen's hubby), already decided on what dish he's cooking.
More details will be updated & peepz who are interested to play with my baby keep this day free ok. I'll buzz you guys for more details soon.

Twinke the "contractor"
She's so smart to "reconstruct" the playpen herself. On the better note, I rather she reconstruct than camp under the newspaper
2 rounds of stomach flu in 1 week!
I simply cannot believe it!!
1 round attacked me last Fri evening, the pain was so intense that set me running to my GP for medication. I stopped taking medication since I recovered on sun.
Earlier went Holland Village to have dinner with Colin, after finishing our yummy nasi lemak, we went pet's lover center for a walk, it was then I suspect I have stomach flu again!!
Now I'm taking back my medication, hopefully I'll be better tomorrow to fight a tough battle in office

Almost fainted when I saw it on the webcam.My baby is growing day by day, we're giving her organic diet now + 1 serving of milk every morning. She's a milk addict, no milk she'll whine till we give it to her.
Her latest hobby now is to camp under the newspaper!! We just bath her yesterday, tonight we'll bath her again.

Twinkle Twinkle little star!!
We went to seletar farmway on the pretext of "look see only", no buying of any puppy at all. At the pet shop, there's a mid-age couple that went to ask the boss if they have any golden retriever, the lady boss say the puppy will only be in her shop 2 mths later.
Me feeling funny push Colin to ask if they have any poodle. The lady boss say yes & told us that there's 2 puppies with the breeder both 6 weeks old, 1 red & 1 apricot & both female!! My heart melt, match our requirement perfectly! The lady boss called the breeder to bring the puppies over for us to view but the breeder insist us to go over her house if we're interested. Since she stay so nearby, we decided to drop by. We got her address & off we went. We get to see her mother which is black, so friendly can & give us such a friendly welcome jump. Then we met the breeder, Sharon who is very friendly & started to fill us info on the 2 puppies.
Her sis is super hyper active, exactly like lassie & twinkle being the shy one just hide & get bullied by her sis & mother. Aw... I can no longer resist temptation & told Colin I wanna get her!! She doesn't come cheap & so we have to put in our heart & soul to take care of her.
Initial planning was the bring her home after her 2nd jab, but I miss her so much even though I know she's in good hands, & decided to bring her home on 22/3!! Mad rush to buy her stuff.
This baby has indeed brought us closer!!

Pls tell me what to do or just kill me!!
Its almost 3 weeks since my last post. 2008 is a extremely bad year for me at least, just ended 1 coldwar 2 weeks ago & barely just 3 weeks into the first month of 2008, we now into another round of coldwar.
It started with him asking me if its ok for us to leave office early on Thurs. I ask him why & he say he wanted to be home before 6pm to play his game. Just as what all of you are wondering what game I'm talking about, its actually an online game called silkroad, a game I hate to the core!! I don't mind him paying to buy those off the rack games, but definitely not this stupid silkroad game. He say his enemy is playing from 6pm to 8pm & he want to be home to kill that enemy of his.
Seriously, in any point of view I'm definitely not agreeable to leave office for a game. I have 20 staff to answer to even if my dad don't question us. I ask him what reason he's gonna say for leaving early, he say just tell my dad we have doctor's appointment. Most lame excuse for the century!! I was extremely busy on thurs, only manage to catch a breather at 5pm, we usually leave office at 6pm, so I thought we have an hour more to go so I went to surf the net for a while.
At 5.30pm I'm tired to the bones, and ask him if he wanna leave, by this time his face is as black as charcoal & I'm not happy. If he's working outside I doubt he can such thoughts, instead he should pray hard that he need work OT. So another round of argument started all becos of his stupid game.
Ever since my laproscopy last Oct, I find it so hard to communicate with him. Our arguments are almost every month & I'm so so so tired from all these. I'm so tired to the extend I was telling my friends I'm so tempted to just open my room window & jump down from my room! These are just foolish thoughts of mine which I'll never execute.
Whether he has an affair still draw a very big question mark in my head, where his heart belong is something I really want to know. He lock his comp & laptop for the fear that I might gather evidence against him.
God, pls guide me or take me back to your kingdom!! I really beg you God, I'm so tired, mentally & physically all drained out, exhausted to the bones & yet have to be strong!! I'm falling anytime now

I'm not too sure if he'll read this, but I really want to get my message across. You have to be responsible with your words. On 30/12, on the eve of my birthday, you say that since I want a child so badly I have better go find another guy who can give me one. This words engrave deep inside my heart & mind.

Blessed New Year!!
Blessed New Year to all my dear friends out there!! May 2008 be a good year for everybody. I shall list down my resolution & birthday wishes now:
Some of you may be guessing my birthday wish is to have a coach or LV bag/wallet or the pendant that I'm eyeing at Goldheart? Not even close, these are material items that I can do without.
1. My birthday wish since last year is to have my own child, a child to call my own. When my sis announce last Nov that she's pregnant with Sherlise, my heart sank, in my heart I keep asking myself why she can easily have 2 kids while I'm still struggling with 1. Regardless of the gender, I pray to God He'll bless me with 1 in His time. God my patience is running low, time & time I face disappointment, time & time again You tested my faith. Nevertheless, I'm hanging strong. I really pray that this time next year I can have my bundle of joy in my arms or expecting his/her arrival & not facing another disappointment again.
2. Next wish I have since I was young was to be completely healed from my asthma + sinus. I have asthma since 8 yrs old, its been close to 20 yrs now & I really don't want to depends on my inhailer anymore, the steriod contents is so high! The last attacked I had on 21/12 I almost rushed myself to hospital.
New year resolution is to face less stress at work, for my dad's company to face less bad debts & his new venture will succeed. Hope that I can find a job mid-year, I don't wish to work with Colin anymore, too much conflict that causes too much argument to us. Its never a good idea for a couple to work together

Worse Birthday I ever had...
This year's birthday is the worse day I ever spend. Sun nite, Colin said we're going back to his parents place for dinner, I agreed even though I was very sick, I was having a very bad running nose & started coughing due to my flu, I thought he'll be kind enough to either bring food home or order pizza hut home so that I can rest.
7.30pm we went over to his parents place, I was already not very happy cos I'm so sick & yet still need to go out. Reached his parents place, after we finished our dinner, his mum say she's cooking winter melon desert & told us to wait for a while more, I was so full & so sick that I couldn't wait to get home to take my med & sleep. Colin insisted on waiting for us to digest a little of our dinner so that we can enjoy the desert. It was 9pm & I'm also half dead, I'm on the verge of screaming my head off at him to go home, he ask me if I want a bowl of desert, where got appetite to eat, he went to enjoy while I was waiting for him, he even ask if I want to tabao home, seriously I'm going to snap at him any min, he tabao 1 small bowl home thats for himself.
Just before we step out of his parents place, I saw our car spare key hanging near the door so I asked him whats the key doing there & insisted to bring it home. At that time his mum is standing just behind us, I insisted him to take home with us he say he'll bring home another day, I cannot understand what he's waiting for so we started another round of argument from the lift all the way home, I even questioned him why his parents is holding to our house keys, I want it back too.
Obviously he's not happy & I'm pissed, reached home he started preaching his grandfather story ask why I draw such a clear line. Hello, can I not take back my stuff? Everything I'm at fault! The clock struck midnight, my friends started buzzing my hp & msn with all the birthday wishes, but none from him!! At 2.30am, I went to bed waking up on & off and thats a very bad start to my birthday.
I woke up at 12+pm, walk out of the room & found him in the study room & still nothing from him!! I was so so so disappointed already, went to open the fridge & saw a bouquet of sunflowers + a cake. Obviously he didn't know I never like sunflower & best of all he didn't even know tulips is my all time love.
While chatting with my friends in msn, I decided to buzz my best friend & ask her out. Went out & met her at chinatown & both of us started our crazy ranting session. Only then I realise, my friends treat me better than him. When I'm out he didn't even ask my whereabouts, no birthday wishes from him also!! All the sms I receive are from my friends!! My friends know my birthday better than him.
I parted with my friend at 10.15pm, reach home at 11pm and still nothing from him!! & I'm tired to the bones! Waited till the clock stuck midnight & it doesn't matter to me anymore cos my birthday is over! This is the "best" birthday I ever spend
