What an idiot!! His parents think we own a bank or since when money grow on trees for us to pluck?!
The few big ticket item that we paid this year for them, Mar/Apr their trip to China, that cost us $1200, Jul his mum went HK with his bro & he kindly sponsored $500 that exclude our own taiwan trip, my parents were so nice to sponsor us $2K to spend in taiwan even though I insist that I'll pay for my own holiday. All these expenses his sis NEVER contribute at all, I really mean not a single cent. Now I start to think if she belong to the family, son must bear all the cost? My own parents whatever we buy we 3 siblings were share the cost to be fair, my bro pay lesser cos NS man not much money also but at least he still contribute.
I've labelled his sis as handicap dunno how long ago, each time we go back & if I see her in my heart I'll say "oh handicap is at home".
I'm making my stand very very clear to him, if his sis is not going to contribute a single cent to the household, I'm not going to pay for anything. I'm not going to be taken as a fool anymore. Still can tell me I should leave room to negiotiate, maybe he contribute $200 the rest is his mum problem. Hello, don't say $200 now, $20 I also don't feel like giving. Never see parents not sparing a thought for their poor kids, working so hard to maintain their own family yet gotta worry about those useless item but come with a big ticket items.
I'm going crazy any min with all these financial stuff, don't try driving me up the wall!!

Not a very happy christmas this year
In actual fact I should be feeling very happy, cos christmas eve marks the 6th year since Colin & I knew each other.
Yesterday we went Marina square & Suntec for shopping, after that we drop by my in-laws place and his bro told us that my MIL want to buy a cake mixer that will cost $800!! You guys didn't read wrongly & there's no typo at my end, his bro say we share the cost, Colin without 2nd thoughts & without discussing with me agreed to this big ticket item. First thing that cross my mind, how long will this cake making hobby last? I was not happy the entire evening, this year have been a year of roller-coaster ride for me, next year will not be easy for me either, I'm going for SO-IUI treatment, each time be it positive or negative news will cost me $2K. I'm feeling very strain financially & best of all, Colin don't feel it at all, probably becos I'm paying all the bills, see figures depleting from our account is making me think twice on a lot of things, some big ticket items which I really hope to buy I don't even dare to dream to own it & Colin just simply agree to let his mum buy a cake mixer?
I really hope he read this cos even though he told his mum to look for a cheaper model, its still going to cost us a few hundred, cny coming, my fertility treatment is coming, so many big ticket items coming my way & yet I cannot choose to ignore all the figures. If the mixer cost something like $300 to $400 I really don't mind blessing my MIL with one, but I look around and I think the cheapest will still be in $700 range.
I'm eyeing on a heart shape pendant from Goldheart, that one after less will cost $1K, didn't even dare to have designs on that, all these are just material items which I can do without.
*secretly cried in office without Colin's knowledge & hope after I pen this down I can have a good night sleep & not thinking about that big ticket item that he's going to buy for his mum, I'm really not happy & don't wish to blow this matter up & have another coldwar with him. I HATE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OTHERS, BUT HIS FAMILY IS TAKING ADVANTAGE ME FOR GRANTED, THEIR CAR'S ENGINE OIL PROBLEM NOW BECOME MY PROBLEM COS I NEED TO SPONSOR THEM WITH 1 FULL CARTON!!!!

Sillypore new cab fare structure by Comfortdelgro
Flagging down a Comfort or CityCab will cost $0.30 more at $2.80.
The metered fare has also been adjusted. It will cost $0.20 per 385 metres of travel for the first 10 kilometres. This will go up to $0.20 per 330 metres for journeys beyond 10 kilometres.
It will cost $0.20 for every 45 seconds of waiting time.
Instead of the $2 surcharge for peak hour travel, there will now be a premium levied. It will be 35 per cent of the metered fare.
And the CBD surcharge will go up from the existing $1 to $3.
*above info extracted from Channelnewsasia.com
Seriously speaking I find the above adjustment crazy, if you compare with Perth (I was there for 2 yrs), the meter is still consider cheap, living standards are much higher here & I'm feeling the strain. From next week onwards, I'll only take taxi when very necessary, other times I'll just take mrt & bus to get to my destination even if it means I need 3 hrs to get to wherever I'm going

most classic conversation with casio...
Today went sim lim square & bugis junction with Colin. Since we're going to bugis, I decided to bring one of my watch to get the battery changed. Here's my conversation with casio's salesgirl
Me: Hi, I would like to change the battery of this watch
Salesgirl: We need to send your watch to service center & it'll take 7 to 9 working days
Me: *too shocked from the reply*, I'm only changing battery need to send my watch to service center?
Salesgirl: We don't have the equipment to change battery so need to service center
Me: *speechless* walk out of the shop & start grumbling at Colin I went to city chain to change the battery & its a less than 10 mins job & I happily paid $10 for it
