The Long Awaited Day - 18 Mar 2009
18 March 2009 marks the day my dear cousin Yishan is getting married to her beau, Raymind after 8 years courtship!

I was pretty busy at work as well as replying her sms & even beg me not to sabo Raymond. I told her firmly men must be able to withstand stress, if he can't even withstand such stress, I'll be worried!
After discussing some final issues with her on the phone, I zonk off to lala land cos I need to wake up latest 3.45am! I seriously cannot remember when is the last time I wake up at such ungodly hour, even my own wedding I didn't wake up that early.

I woke up at 3.45am, didn't laze around in bed in case I got not enough time to get ready. Colin also woke up at this time to prepare some breakfast for me, I called for a cab at 4.30am cos I didn't see any cabs on the road, Colin with 90% of his brain in dreamland accompanied me down to take the cab.
Reach my cousin's place at 5am & she just started her makeup.
6am - The groom is here to pick the bride! The makeup is not done, my auntie & uncle have yet to put the veil on their only daughter!! I called the groom to wait cos the bride is not ready.
6.15am - Yishan's cousin & photographer went down, I peep out of the window 5 mins later they're on the way up, quickly locked the gate. Naughty me move my cousin from her room to her parents room which is next door, close all room doors to make it more realistic
6.20am - Groom & bestman is waiting for us (jiemeis) to open the gate, but before we do it, he have to ans 3 questions prepared by the bride, first wrong ans he have to drink pure lemon juice from milk bottle (courtesy of Shyenne & Sherlise), 2nd wrong ans he have to eat ritz biscuit with very pathetic amount of wasabi, 3rd wrong ans he have to eat one piece of chocolate.
All task completed in 15 mins, so I told them before I open the gate you should know what to do right, then he say oh ya & handed me the angbao. Open up only $120, I ask him your wife only worth this much ah, then he ask how much we want, you see how much your wife is worth lor, they went to the side, ding dong for a few minutes & our patience run low, came back with another angbao, add $60 only *faintz*. I let him in cos no time already.
6.40am - I told him before he's allowed to see the bride, he must say something from his heart, I didn't have any script 100% from his heart with my auntie & uncle + grandma as witness! so he say something like "Dear Yishan, today is our big day, I'll love you & hold you till both of us no teeth". Really have the urge to suan him, but no time . Then he's given a bunch of keys to open the room door, 3 attempts afterwhich he have to sing song. First attempt he open the door!!!! So damn lucky can!! I cannot believe my eyes!!!!!!
When he open the door, bride not inside, he went in search the whole room with a super shocking face & ask me where's the bride. I told him there's only 3 bedroom here, you're free to open all room doors to search. Colin say I very evil, he finally found the bride & ask her if she heard what he say earlier, really set us laughing out loud.
7.15am, we set off to their new place, cos they need to enter their bedroom at 8am sharp, no less no more!!! It was pure madness cos we really didn't want them to miss the auspicious timing.
7.58am - Ask them to standby & march-in to their bedroom & stand outside till the clock strike 8am.
8am - Finally can enter bedroom. They ate tangyuan & I can't see what other ingredients are there in the bowl.
8.15am - We're ready to set off to the groom's parents place for tea ceremony. The entire morning have to calm my cousin's nerves down, she walk super fast & I'm running behind her cos I need to hold her gown.
Before 9am cos cannot remember exact timing - We're at tampines, tea ceremony begins
10.30am - leave for my auntie & uncle place at toa payoh, by this time 70% of my brain in dreamland already, so so so tired leh.
11am - Tea Ceremony begins & I'm the angbao caretaker for the day! Leave all valuables with my aunt. I ate my lunch at 11.30am even though no appetite but I was so hungry
12.30pm - My dad send me home & I knock out to lala land at 2pm, cos need to reach banquet venue before 6pm! I was thrown the task of reception & ROM table settings.
6.30pm to 11pm - Thank God everything went on very smoothly. Reach home feed the 2 monkies, I quickly take my shower & knock out in less than 5mins.
It was a super tiring day, but I'm so so so happy for my auntie & uncle & her grandma. They're truly happy that their only precious daughter have found her happiness.
Congrats Yishan & Raymond!!! Have a blissful marriage!!!
p/s: Raymond if you ill-treat Yishan, I'll hold you 100% responsible

Brisbane 3 Apr to 11 Apr'09
I've been wanting to go Australia for a long long time, I really miss that place very very much, past couple of year the aussie dollar is pretty high, that put my plans on hold for quite a while. Lately the aussie dollar is down, so Colin tell me to plan for a trip to Australia!!
After searching much info, I've decided on Brisbane & Gold Coast for a start, Perth is quite a boring place aka ghost town. We'll be doing self-drive as Colin say the package tour too rush, we've booked everything (except car rent which will be done by this weekend) now just counting down to my holiday & I'm looking so forward to it! Australia here we come!!
*our 2 monkies will be taken care of by my MIL during these 9 days, worse come to worse scenario, both will be going over to Sharon's place & I think I have to inform her soon

My poor Shyenne :(
Yesterday for the first time, Shyenne called my dad's hp & complain. The moment my dad answer the call, Shyenne say "ah gong, naughty boy eat my face", my dad obviously don't understand what she's saying so he pass the phone to my sis. This girl said the same thing to mummy "mummy, naughty boy eat my face", I can see there's a lot of question mark on my sis face, my mum's helper further explained to my sis that there's this boy in her class bite her face & her face is very very red.
My sis very angry with what had happen immediately called the teacher. Her teacher explained that Shyenne is lying on the mattress with another student, this boy for no reason went to bite her face & went to bite the other student's finger & best of all the teacher didn't inform the affected parents!! They so conveniently say that they're busy & forgot to call, win liao lor!! This boy have been biting the students in the class on a daily basis *faintz*. We're all not happy with how the teachers handle the situation, if Shyenne never call & complain (she never do this before, it must be so painful that trigger her to call mummy & complain), we're only know when we get home!!
When I went back to my parents place last night, I saw the teeth mark on her face, so heartache!! The mark is so deep (paiseh, I have no heart to take pics of her face, but my BIL took pics of her face cos he's going to sch on Mon & bang table & maybe withdraw this poor girl from the sch), the moment Shyenne saw Colin she went to tell him "uncle, naughty boy eat my face"
Lets see how the school handle my sis & BIL on Mon when they're there.

Hubby's Birthday 2009!
Happy Birthday to my dearest hubby!
Today actually planned to go The line at Shangrila hotel for buffet lunch, but the birthday boy was not keen with buffet hence change location to The Heeren, Shoduko street of Japan. Their style is exactly like Marche, food so so, we still prefer Ichiban.
After our lunch, we went over to taka purpose was to look for a dress to attend 2 upcoming weddings. Didn't find anything nice, so decided to drop by Coach shop to have a look, main intention is to buy a wrislet, but my dear hubby decided to get a tote bag! Simply love it to the max!!
We decided to call off a day at 3pm as we're too tired to walk anymore. It was a quiet day but I can tell Colin is happy thats all it matters to me
